Bio
Ethan grew up in the small town of Emory, Texas, where a love for sports and a strong work ethic were instilled at a young age. Under the guidance of one of the best mentors, Coach Kim Talkington, Ethan developed a deep passion for volleyball that would shape both his career and future endeavors. Coach Talkington’s mentorship helped refine Ethan’s skills on the court while teaching the values of discipline, leadership, and teamwork—qualities that would carry over into every aspect of life.
After high school, Ethan pursued a degree in Business Administration, combining his love for sports with a practical, strategic approach to the business world. This dual passion for volleyball and business allowed him to approach coaching with both a competitive edge and a strong sense of organization.
For the past eight years, Ethan has dedicated himself to coaching club volleyball, where he led teams to national qualifications. His ability to motivate, train, and inspire athletes at every level has earned him respect within the volleyball community. Whether coaching youth players or collegiate athletes, Ethan always seeks to bring out the best in each player, striving for excellence both on and off the court.
In 2024, Ethan transitioned into collegiate coaching, joining Southwestern Christian College as an head coach for their volleyball program. This exciting new chapter marks the beginning of his collegiate coaching career, where he continues to build on his years of experience while developing young athletes in the competitive world of college volleyball.
With a passion for teaching and a dedication to the sport, Ethan is not only shaping the future of volleyball players but also making a significant impact on the collegiate coaching landscape.
